Trumouse Pro: Power Supply and Electrical Specifications

Table: External power inputs

Component Input Connector Power source
Reader Array (RFID floor platform) DC 5 V DC connector, 2 per block External low-ripple DC supply
Industrial Camera External DC 12 V or 24 V 6-pin P7 connector External DC supply
Infrared Light DC 12 ~ 24 V DC connector External DC supply
Environmental Sensor DC 12 V or 24 V DC connector External DC supply
Switch As specified by its manufacturer Mains plug Independent power supply
Compute Unit As specified by its manufacturer Mains plug Independent power supply

The Reader Array must be powered from a low-ripple DC supply. All external power supplies and the switch are certified commercial products. See Figure “Trumouse Pro interface locations (viewed from the right rear)” for the location of the power connectors.

The Reader Array (RFID floor platform) is powered at 5 V DC. The Industrial Camera, environmental sensor and Infrared Lights support 12 V or 24 V DC power. The Compute Unit has its own power supply. All DC supplies in the system are 24 V or lower.

Table: Estimated power consumption

Subsystem Power supply Estimated power (W)
Reader Array (RFID floor platform) 5 V DC 100
Infrared Lights 12 V or 24 V DC 100
Industrial Camera 12 V or 24 V DC 3.2
Environmental Sensor 12 V or 24 V DC 5
Total (excluding the Compute Unit) 208.2

The power figures are estimates and exclude the Compute Unit. The Industrial Camera uses the typical power consumption from its datasheet, the Infrared Lights are counted at their rated power, and the environmental sensor figure is approximate.
